7th grade Social
Studies deals with world geography and history. Three regions of the world
are examined throughout the year- Africa, East Asia,
and the Middle East. Each unit of study covers geography, history, the
political and economic systems, and the important people and events
that have influenced the region. The 7th grade Social Studies curriculum follows
the Georgia Performance Standards.
Little Known Facts About Mr. Kasch: Born in Bloomington, Illinois. Earned undergraduate degree from University of Illinois, Masters Degree from Illinois State University, and a Specialist Degree from Georgia State University. Comes from a family of teachers- wife, mother, two brothers (one is his twin!), and brother's wife are all teachers! He is an avid golfer whose wife probably feels he spends too much time on the links!
