Information

 A little about your child’s life science teacher:

            My name is Jeanne Bayer.  I am married and have a 29 year old daughter and a 27 year old son.  I have two pets, a 15 year old cat and a five year old miniature dachshund.  My educational background includes a degree in nursing, a degree in secondary science, and a Master’s degree in Science Education.  I am a National Board Certified teacher in young adolescent science and a participant in a National Science Foundation Grant Study in Project Based Inquiry.  This is my sixteenth year at TRMS.  I consider education an ongoing process for all people regardless of age or experience.  I will be learning new things from your child as well as guiding them in their exploration of the living world.  My expectations for your child are that he or she brings to class his or her unique talents and to work up to potential.  I also hope you as parents will help your child with priority setting, time management, and will help me motivate him or her to do the best work possible.  With this in mind, please contact me if you have suggestions/concerns throughout the year.
