Announcements:
Rehearsals are on Mondays from 7:30 - 8:30. Our last rehearsal before Flute Night is on Monday, April 28th. Please practice your music diligently!
Friday, May 2nd is Flute Night....You will stay after school to rehearse with the CHS Flute Ensemble and eat pizza. Please bring $5 for your pizza and drinks.
Rehearsals:
Rehearsals are every Monday morning from 7:30 -
8:30 in the band room.
Performances:
We will have a Spring Flute Recital on Friday, May 2nd at 7:00 p.m.
Literary Soiree - Monday, May 5th at 7:00 p.m. Be at TRMS in the band room by 6:30 dressed and ready to play!
Attire for performances is
the same as that required for band concerts: black pants or skirts
and white tops.
Purpose:
The Taylor Road Middle School Flute Choir is designed to provide flute players with an opportunity to play in an ensemble and to explore additional music for the flute. There will be opportunities for performances throughout the year. While participation in the ensemble will allow a student additional study of the flute, the TRMS Flute Choir is NOT a substitute for private lessons.
Membership:
Membership in the TRMS Flute
Choir will be determined by auditions. Students who wish to tryout
for membership should have been playing flute for at least 2 years.
Auditions are held early in the Fall Semester.
