Announcements
Our next rehearsal is on Friday, April 24th. Make sure you've really worked on all the music. We will finalize our performance pieces this week.
Friday, May 2nd...Meet at TRMS in the rotunda by the cafeteria at 4:10. We will rehearse with the middle school group, and we will also do some last minute work on our pieces. We will eat pizza with the middle school flute choir, so please bring $5 for the pizza and drinks. Seniors do NOT have to pay $5.

Every Friday morning at 7:30 in the small ensemble room.

Membership
Membership is open to any flute player who is enrolled at Chattahoochee High School. Auditions for new members will be held after marching season is over. Students who are in the flute section of the CHS Wind Ensemble or were members of the group in the previous year do not need to audition to join this group.
The CHS Flute Ensemble was established in 2004 to provide an additional musical ensemble opportunity for flute players. In addition, the ensemble experience will allow the players to explore additional music for the flute and some of the different instruments in the flute family. The ensemble utilizes the following instruments: C flutes, piccolo, alto flute, and bass flute. While an ensemble experience will certainly enhance a student's musical experience, it is not a substitute for private lessons.
