After school activities are available Monday through Friday.   All clubs will begin in September.  Students must be registered in order to participate. Club forms will be available from the Front Office or Club Sponsor.

 

Music rehearsals will follow the schedule set by the directors. 

 

Intramural offerings change seasonally.  Registration forms are available on the Intramural Bulletin Board and in the Front Office.

SPANISH CLUB
Meeting:  3rd Thursday of each month
Time: 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Membership: 8th grade students
Purpose: 

To enhance student knowledge of Hispanic culture and customs by participating in hands-on and visual activities. The club is intended for students who are interested in studying more about Spanish speaking people. Spanish teachers monitor the club.  Snacks are provided.

TAYLOR ROAD HUMANE CLUB
Meeting:  2nd Wednesday of each month
Time: 8:00 - 8:40 a.m.

Membership: Open to ALL Students
Purpose:  TRPC is a service club that gives students the opportunity to be involved in various animal rescue activities.  Club projects benefit abused, abandoned and neglected animals.

EVERGREEN CLUB
Meeting:  2nd & 4th Thursday of the month
Time: 4:00 p.m.
Place:  Room S5
Sponsor:    Ms. Sheppard
Membership: Open to ALL Students  ($10.00 Membership fee)
Purpose: 

Students participate in  school-wide beautification, maintaining the TRMS Nature Trail and Outdoor Classrooms, Earth Week planning and celebrations, Arbor Day plantings, fall and spring clean-up days, and increasing student awareness for individual responsibility.  This is a community service group which stresses the involvement of "friends & family" both at school and at home for an "awe-inspiring" environment. 

CHESS CLUB/COACHING

Purpose: 

Promotes civic responsibility and leadership within the school, and shows appreciation for students, faculty, and parents.  We organize dances and charity events throughout the year.
